A New Chapter in Sustainability Leadership

Chris Leong, who has served as Schneider Electric’s Chief Marketing Officer for 10 years, has been appointed Chief Sustainability Officer effective January 2025.

In her new role, Leong will oversee Schneider’s sustainability strategy, corporate citizenship initiatives, and environmental impact efforts.

Proven Global Leadership

Chris Leong joined Schneider Electric in 2012 as EVP of Digital Customer Experience and became part of the Executive Committee in 2015. During her tenure as CMO, she strengthened Schneider’s global brand and digital engagement.

Before Schneider, Leong held senior roles at Nokia and WPP Group, working with global brands like P&G, Ford, and Heineken across Asia and Europe.

Leong is a vocal advocate for ESG principles and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDG), emphasizing the importance of purpose-driven enterprises for building a sustainable future.
